Dante Slashing his way into Next Gen
With remastered editions of classic games such as Crash with the Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy that came out in 2017 for PlayStation 4, Ratchet & Clank Remastered that came out in 2016 for PlayStation 4 and of course games like Halo with the Master Chief Collection for the XBox One that consisted of Halo 1, 2, 3, and 4, and if you read our recent post you would know that a Spyro HD Trilogy is in the works for later this year it would seem that everyone is just coming to the current console generation. Well, let’s add everybody’s favorite Vampire slasher to the list. After last year when it was being announced that is was coming, Dante from the critically acclaimed Devil May Cry is getting a HD rehaul in the Devil May Cry HD Collection and it is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. This HD Collection will include Devil May Cry 1, Devil May Cry 2 and Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Special Edition. You can also add this collection to your other two games that already got their HD rehauls Devil May Cry 4 and DMC: Devil May Cry (you know, the one with different hair Dante for whatever reason). Coming from Capcom, this title originally came out in 2001 for just the PlayStation 2. Later on it eventually came out for Xbox 360 in the later years as well as PlayStation 3 thanks to an HD collection of the first 3 coming out for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 years before in 2012, then it came to PC way later. With the the HD collection that came out for the past generation consoles you MIGHT have it for those, but it’s way more convenient with this HD collection now you can hack and slash away with graphics that won’t look dated on your current consoles (PS4 XB1) or PC and you never know new additional things could be added (allegedly of course). Also this is something nice Amazon is doing for this collection, well that is if you have Amazon Prime, you can play the first Devil May Cry for free through Twitch Prime on February 27th. I’m going to have to get on that myself, and that’s a fact!
