Everything said in Ubisoft Forward!

What’s going on everybody, Wav3yGawd here! Yesterday Ubisoft had their “not E3” presentation called Ubisoft Forward. They announced it a little while ago but this was their showcase to show off everything they had coming this year, including games such as Watch Dogs Legion, their new battle royale title Hyper Scape and their upcoming latest installment in the Assassin’s Creed series Assassin’s Creed Valhalla! While they showed other news as well, those were the main three things they showed as well as a special trailer at the end!

To open up their showcase, they started to tell us more about Watch Dogs Legion which we heard of a lot at last years E3 presentation.

However, here they showed a lot more gameplay and expanded on the idea of using anybody in the city of London to make them a part of your squad to do missions. They talked about how to build your team as well so you can have the best chance in the game.

They also announced a release date for the title of October 28, 2020! So you will be able to get your hands on the third title in the Watch Dogs franchise during the holiday season!

Ubisoft also announced that their fighter Brawlhalla will be coming to mobile devices. You will be able to not only customize your controls on your phone but will also be able to play with your friends on console or PC.

That’s right, Brawlhalla is getting cross play, which I personally think should be the standard for multiplayer games but that’s another article for another time. Brawlhalla will be launching on mobile devices on August 6th! There is also a new game coming under the Tom Clancy name titled Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad which will be coming soon to mobile devices as well.

If you have been around Twitch or just on the internet, then you know that Ubisoft had a new battle royale first person shooter called Hyper Scape!

Obviously this is their way of getting in the battle royale arena with Apex Legends and Fortnite. The gameplay seems to look like Apex from the fps perspective but it looks like it plays a lot different. If y’all are reading this then you have probably seen gameplay from different streams on Twitch, but now they have a back story about the game and what it’s about.

The game has only been given to certain people at this time, but as of yesterday the open beta is out now for everybody to download and get their hands on. This comes with a new gun, a new hack and a free 30 tier battle pass. Just go to HyperScape.com to try it out! Oh, and for right now you can only play this title on PC, Xbox and PlayStation are getting this game later this year. No word on when it is coming out yet, but it's rumor they will be coming in August.

Now the biggest game that everyone came to see was Assassin’s Creed Valhalla where Ubisoft promised gameplay (actual gameplay this time) and that’s exactly what we got plus valuable information about the world.

They talked about how the combat has gotten tweaked a little bit with a new stun system and it looks like a nice blend between the combat of Assassin’s Creed Origins and Odyssey and the older titles. You can throw axes to make nice combos as well as use double shields to deal major damages to enemies. Your protagonist can also be either a Male or Female just like in Odyssey and the name of the character is Eivor!

There will also be village raids where you can storm villages with your fellow vikings. Animals in the game will be used for hunting needs and food this time around. One thing I didn’t like about what I saw was that there is now a stamina bar, just like you have in games such as Dark Souls or Nioh. Y’all can check out more information in the video below.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be released on November 17th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Google Stadia and PC!

Finally, after the news about a Farcry 6 leak from a PS store Ubisoft showed us the trailer for the sixth installment in their Farcry series!

Giancarlo Esposito from such TV shows as Breaking Bad, Godfather of Harlem and The Mandalorian will be playing the main villain.

Watch the full trailer below! Farcry 6 has a release date of February 18, 2021!

Ubisoft showed off more gameplay of Valhalla after the showcase was over. They went more in depth about the story and certain missions. If you haven’t checked out the Ubisoft Forward showcase watch it below! Ubisoft said that there will be another Ubisoft Forward later this year so we will bring y’all the news on that one when it is announced as well. Did anything from Ubisoft get y’all pumped up. Let us know! Until next time y’all, this is Wav3yGawd saying PEACE!
