Pokemon: Let's Go Pikachu And Pokemon: Let's Go Eevee (Pokemon Go for the Switch almost)

Looks like Pokemon is FINALLY coming to the console again! The Pokemon company announced this big news during a press conference in Japan. The games will be called Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokemon: Let’s Go Eevee, they are both the same except for the Pokemon that is at your side whether it be Eevee or the beloved Pikachu. While the game is still primarily on handheld devices these days, Nintendo has found a way for this new game to be used in your house or on the go. So far we know that it will look very similar to Pokemon Go as it will be able to work hand in hand with the Mobile game, you will be able to send Pokemon as gifts via mobile to console and vice versa. The Joy-cons will be used to throw the Pokeball just like you use your phone to throw the Pokeball on the mobile game. Sharing is also an option, where you can hand someone a joy-con and with a simple shake they can play right along with you. But not only will you be able to control with a Joy-Con, but you can control with an actual Pokeball as well. This Pokeball will be a special kind of controller called the Pokeball Plus where you can even take the Pokeball out with you and take your Pokemon out for a stroll. Being that this Pokemon game co-exists with Pokemon Go for mobile, it was confirmed by Junichi Masuda that is game is intended to attract newcomers, again. He also stated that is supposed to be a kind of “remake” of Pokemon Yellow, and like that version released in 1999 you will either have Pikachu or Eevee at your side depending on which game you purchase. The game goes all the way back to the Kanto Region and has the original 150 Pokemon. The new Pokemon game will also feature a brand new pokemon as well as some Pokemon from the Alora Region.

Now Nintendo did say last year at E3 that a “core” Pokemon RPG was being made for the Nintendo Switch. This is not it (thankfully). While this is a very innovative idea for Nintendo to have the idea of Pokemon on the Go and in the comforts of your own home again, like I stated before this game is for newcomers. So basically all the people that were really hyped about Pokemon Go first coming out will go out and be the first to buy this. However, the fact that it can work simultaneously with your smartphone, that is something that will appeal to both hardcore and casual fans. The “core” Pokemon RPG game that was promised is not coming out until next year in 2019. However Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokemon: Let’s Go Eevee will make its way to store shelves on November 16th, 2018. Check out the official trailer below. So will you all be getting these games, are you excited? Let us know in the comments. Until next time y’all, PEACE!
