Wolfenstein II Nintendo Switch date announced
Back in one of the Nintendo Directs from the fall of 2017, anybody who watched it saw the Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus was announced for the Nintendo Switch along with Doom. While Doom came out later that year for the home/portable console, Wolfenstein II did not and got delayed for a little more polishing and no one ever got an answer on when the game was coming out for the Switch. Well everybody, it seems that Wolfenstein II has just got a release date and you won’t have to wait too long, as the winner of the Best Action Game at The Game Awards will be heading to Nintendo Switch this summer on June 29th of 2018! Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is set in an alternate Germany timeline in 1961 following the Nazi victory of the second World War (that’s how you know this a video game). The game follows war veteran William “B.J.” Blazkowicz and his efforts to fight against the Nazi regime in America. I personally did not play either of the Wolfenstein’s but I heard great things about the game, I actually have the demo of the second one but haven’t played it yet. It was a free demo so I said, “Hey why not, I’ll get to it eventually”. The game is currently already out on XBox One, PlayStation 4 and PC and now Nintendo will be added to that mix. So all you Nintendo purists out there that want to expand your horizon a little bit, this game can be right up your alley come this June! Check out the trailer to Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus for the Nintendo Switch below, Peace y’all!
